Frugal Family Fun- Matchbox Car Painting

It was HOT outside today so I decided it would be a good day to do a project with Aubrey.

I got out our paints and found a car in their toy bin. I gave Aubrey a large piece of paper and put three blobs of paint on it.  

Then, she drove the car through the paint.

I sat with her and kept adding paint when she would run out. I don't like to put too much on at a time or you don't get the distinct lines from the tires. 

Aubrey loved this activity! She was fascinated by how the colors change when they mix. It was a great way to explore primary colors and how they mix to make new colors. We will definitely do this again!
